Following the success of our February 2026 trip, SheClicks is returning to Iceland in February 2027 for another photography adventure.
From 19th to 25th February 2027, I’ll be joining Emily Endean to lead a week-long trip through some of Iceland’s most extraordinary landscapes. The 2026 trip was such a special experience, with dramatic weather, amazing locations, brilliant company and so many opportunities to make memorable images, so I’m delighted that we’re going back.
This trip is designed for women who love photography and want to experience Iceland in a supportive, creative group. Whether you’re fairly new to photography or have years of experience, this is about spending time with like-minded women, building confidence, learning along the way and enjoying the experience of photographing one of the most visually striking countries in the world.

One of the things that makes SheClicks trips different is the atmosphere. This is not about racing from one location to the next and simply ticking places off a list. It’s about travelling with purpose, making time to look properly, thinking about how you want to photograph a place, and sharing the experience with women who understand exactly why waiting in the cold for the light to change can feel completely worthwhile.
Emily and I will be on hand throughout the trip with practical help, encouragement and photography guidance. Whether you’d like support with camera settings, composition, creative ideas or simply the confidence to try something different, we’ll be there to help you get the most from the experience.
Alongside the photography, this trip is also about connection, creativity and shared moments in an inspiring setting. Spending time with women who love photography as much as you do is a big part of what makes these trips so special.

Iceland is one of those places that can feel almost unreal at times. The landscape changes constantly, and everywhere you look, there is something worth photographing. Waterfalls crash into deep canyons, glaciers carve through the land, black sand beaches stretch into the distance, and the volcanic scenery seems to belong to another planet.
February is also a fantastic time to visit as a photographer. The low winter light can be beautiful, there’s every chance of dramatic skies, and if conditions are on our side, we may also get to photograph the aurora.

This is a seven-day adventure-style road trip through Iceland, taking in a range of locations and landscapes along the way. We’ll photograph waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, lava fields and wide open vistas, with time in Reykjavik, Geysir, Vik and Skaftafell.
Some of the highlights include photographing Icelandic horses in beautiful early light and visiting Diamond Beach, which was a real favourite on the 2026 trip. There will also be opportunities to photograph waterfalls, glaciers, volcanic landscapes and, weather permitting, the Northern Lights.

I’ll be leading the trip alongside Emily Endean, an award-winning outdoor photographer with a real love of wild places, changing light and helping other photographers grow in confidence. Emily brings a huge amount of experience, enthusiasm and encouragement, and she is brilliant at helping people respond creatively to the landscape around them.

Our local guide will be Hanna Másdóttir, who guided the SheClicks group in February 2026 and is back by popular request. Hanna already knows the style and pace of the trip, and she understands what photographers need from an itinerary like this. She’s brilliant, very supportive and great fun to travel with, which makes a huge difference on a trip like this.

We’re also working with Iceland Cover, a specialist Icelandic clothing rental company, to help make travelling lighter and easier. Participants on this trip can receive 50% off clothing rental, plus free delivery to our hotel in Reykjavík and free collection on departure day. Full details will be shared before the trip.
Please do not book your flights until we have confirmed that the trip has met the minimum numbers and is going ahead.
To join the group transfers, flights should arrive before 12 noon on the arrival day. Return transfers will leave the hotel from 7am on departure day.

What made the February 2026 trip so memorable was not just Iceland itself, but the experience of sharing it with a group of women who all love photography. There’s something very special about being with people who understand why you want to stop for changing light, return to the same place twice, or stand quietly in the cold because the conditions feel promising.
That sense of shared enthusiasm, support and creativity is at the heart of SheClicks, and it’s exactly why I’m so excited that we’re going back in 2027.
If Iceland has been on your wish list, this is a brilliant opportunity to experience it with a supportive group and photography at the heart of the journey.
With just 10 to 14 spaces available, places are limited, so early booking is recommended. In fact, there’s £100 discount for the first nine people who book (use the code FIRSTNINE).

If you’re looking for something a little closer to home, our Birmingham weekend workshop (13-14th June 2026) is a great option. It’s a shorter, and at £449, more accessible break here in the UK, focused on creative city photography, with plenty of time to explore techniques like multiple exposure and black-and-white photography in a relaxed, supportive setting.

If you’re dreaming about a real adventure, we’ve also recently launched our Kenya Wildlife Safari Photography Workshop (6th–13th November 2027). It’s an eight-day, women-only trip to the Masai Mara, co-led by wildlife photographer Ann Aveyard and me, with immersive game drives, expert guidance and time to really slow down and photograph wildlife with intention. It’s a very different experience to Madeira, but just as special.
