These additional terms and conditions apply if you attend a SheClicks event.
Event or Course(s): Any meet-up, workshop, training event, photowalk, trip, webinar or other activity organised by or in partnership with SheClicks.
Equipment: Any cameras, camera equipment, accessories, drones, computers or other personal items brought to an event by you.
Owners: The owners and/or management of the event venue.
Services: The activities, guidance, training, talks, demonstrations or other services provided during the event.
Venue: The location where the event takes place.
Attendees under the age of 18 are welcome at selected SheClicks events only with prior approval from SheClicks.
Any attendee under 18 must:
We reserve the right to decline attendance where an event is not considered suitable for under 18s.
By booking a place, registering interest, emailing to reserve a place or attending an event, you confirm that these requirements have been met.
Places at events may be booked through SheClicks, partner organisations or other third-party systems depending on the event.
Where bookings and payments are handled by a partner organisation or third party provider, their booking and payment terms will also apply.
Personal information provided in relation to an event will be handled in accordance with the SheClicks Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
You agree to:
(a) wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for the location, weather and activity;
(b) notify us before the event if you have accessibility requirements, mobility considerations or require assistance;
(c) follow all reasonable instructions issued by SheClicks, event leaders, partner organisations and venue staff, including health and safety requirements;
(d) behave respectfully towards attendees, organisers, venues and members of the public;
(e) ensure you have suitable insurance for your equipment and participation where appropriate;
(f) avoid causing damage to venues, property or equipment;
(g) cover your own travel, accommodation, food and personal expenses unless otherwise stated;
(h) ensure that the event location and activity are suitable for your needs. SheClicks meet-ups are organised by volunteers and organisers may not be able to provide support for accessibility, dietary or other individual requirements.
(i) notify us during or within twenty-eight (28) days after the event of any complaint relating to the event.
You remain responsible for your own travel arrangements, well-being, and mobility during the event.
We reserve the right to change event prices, locations, timings, formats, content, leaders or other arrangements where reasonably necessary.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify attendees of any changes.
We may cancel an event where circumstances outside our control make it impractical or unsafe to proceed.
If SheClicks cancels an event for which payment was made directly to SheClicks, attendees will normally receive either:

Some SheClicks events are free while others require payment.
Payment arrangements vary depending on the event and may be handled by SheClicks or by a partner organisation.
Any applicable fees, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation terms and refund arrangements will be provided at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated, attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own refreshments, travel and accommodation.
We will provide the services described for the duration of the event.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under consumer protection legislation.
Advice regarding consumer rights is available from Citizens Advice or Trading Standards.
We do not guarantee any specific outcome, learning result, photographic opportunities, weather conditions, wildlife sightings or commercial benefit arising from attendance at an event.
Attendees remain responsible for their own equipment and belongings.
SheClicks accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property including cameras, lenses, computers, drones or accessories.
Where an event is affected by circumstances outside our control, including severe weather, transport disruption, venue issues or illness, we will notify attendees as soon as reasonably possible.
Photographs and video may be taken during events for promotional, editorial, educational or community purposes.
By attending an event, you agree that images or video featuring you may be used by SheClicks for marketing and promotional purposes unless you notify us before or during the event that you do not wish to be included.
