Following the success of our February 2026 trip, and many requests to return at a different time of year, I’m delighted to say that we’re heading back to Iceland in May 2027. We’ve put this trip together by popular request, so it’s likely to book-up quickly – especially as there’s a £100 discount for the first 10 to book.
This new trip runs from 22nd to 30th May 2027 and offers something quite different from our winter adventures. We’ve designed a new route that takes in some incredible locations we haven’t visited before, timed for milder conditions, longer days and the chance to photograph one of Iceland’s most popular wildlife subjects – puffins.
I’ll be leading the trip with Emily Endean, and as with all SheClicks trips, this is a women-only photography experience designed to be supportive, creative and genuinely enjoyable.

While our February trips focus on dramatic winter conditions, this May trip is all about exploring Iceland in gentler, slightly warmer conditions – and puffins.
We’ll be travelling through the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and into the Westfjords, one of Iceland’s most remote and least-visited regions. Expect winding coastal roads, dramatic cliffs, fjords, waterfalls and wide open views, with far fewer crowds than many of the more familiar locations.
It’s a chance to slow down a little, spend time with the landscape and photograph Iceland in a different way.

One of the highlights of this trip will be visiting the spectacular Látrabjarg cliffs, home to one of Iceland’s largest seabird colonies.
In May, puffins nest along the cliffs and are often surprisingly approachable, making this a brilliant opportunity to photograph them alongside sweeping coastal scenery. It’s one of those locations that offers both wildlife and landscape photography in the same place, and it’s something many of you have asked for.
Alongside this, we’ll photograph everything from lava fields and glacier-capped volcanoes to fjords, waterfalls and coastal views, with a mix of well-known locations and places that feel much more off the beaten track.
This is a 9-day, adventure-style road trip, travelling through a constantly changing landscape with plenty of stops to photograph along the way.
Emily and I will be on hand throughout with guidance, encouragement and practical advice, whether you want help with camera settings, composition or simply building confidence in your photography.
Just as importantly, this trip is about sharing the experience with a group of like-minded women. That supportive SheClicks atmosphere is a big part of what makes these trips so special.
All levels of photographic experience are welcome, you just need a camera, some curiosity and a willingness to get involved.

Our local guide will be Hanna Másdóttir, who guided the SheClicks group in February 2026. She already understands how we like to travel and photograph, and she brings a huge amount of knowledge, energy and support to the experience.
Following the winter trip, there were lots of requests to return and explore a different side of Iceland, including the chance to photograph puffins.
That’s exactly what this trip is about.
If you’ve already been to Iceland in winter, this offers a completely different experience. And if you haven’t, it’s a brilliant way to see a quieter, wilder side of the country with a supportive group of women who love photography.
With just 10 to 14 places available, this trip is likely to fill quickly.
