SheClicks Challenges

Every month, we have a photography challenge for SheClicks members. Entering the challenge is easy because you can submit up to 5 images via our dedicated challenge submission webpage using the password SheLogsIn. Please also post your images in the SheClicks Facebook Group to inspire others to get involved.

At the end of the month, up to 25 of the submitted images are selected by Angela or a special guest judge to appear in our Gallery page for the world to see. The team at PermaJet will also select their favourite image from those 25 to print for the photographer and share on their social channels (tagging the photographer).

How to prepare your images for submission

Please ensure that each image you submit is:

  1. Saved as a Jpeg.
  2. At least 1920 pixels along the longest dimension so it looks good on the gallery.
  3. Is less than 2MB. If your images won’t upload, it’s likely because they are larger than 2MB.
  4. Submit your image(s) using the upload page, the password is SheLogsIn (that’s a capital i after the s).

Follow the links to see how to resize an image and export it as a Jpeg in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. Adobe also has a FREE Image Resizer Tool that is easy to use.

SheClicks March 2026 Photography Challenge

Theme: Your Thing
Deadline: Midnight (UK time) on Tuesday, 31st March 2026

Entry via: sheclickschallenge.net
Password: SheLogsIn (that’s a capital i after the s)

Sponsor: MPB

The theme for the March 2026 Challenge is Your Thing. It’s all about the subjects, styles and genres that light you up creatively. With International Women’s Day in mind, this month is a celebration of women following their own creative instincts and photographing what matters to them.

It might be landscapes, pets, macro, street, abstracts, still life, wildlife, long exposure, or something completely different. Whether you enjoy photographing people or prefer to keep your camera firmly pointed elsewhere, this is your chance to lean into the kind of photography you enjoy most and create an image that feels truly you.

There’s no right or wrong approach here. If it’s the type of image that makes you want to pick up your camera, it fits the brief.

As always, your image(s) can be taken at any time and anywhere. Please don’t submit images that have already been selected for the SheClicks gallery in an earlier challenge, and note that generative AI images are not eligible for entry.

The fabulous team at PermaJet will choose their favourite from the gallery selection and print it for the photographer. They’ll also share it on their social channels (and yes, they’ll tag you so the glory is all yours).

And don’t forget, as a SheClicker you get 20% off PermaJet inkjet paper. Just use the code click20 at checkout on the PermaJet website.

The images submitted for this challenge will be eligible for selection for an exhibition in the future.

What to do if Your Image Is Selected for the Gallery

If one of your images has been selected for the gallery, please send me the high-resolution version to challenge@sheclicks.net as soon as possible as it’s eligible for selection for a future exhibition.

When you send your high-resolution image, please use this format for the file name: First Name Second Name – Image Title.jpg

For example: Angela Nicholson – My Image.jpg.

Please use this format, including the capital letters, spaces and hyphen, as it saves a lot of time. Please send Jpegs, not TIFF or PNG files.

If possible, please don’t send your image by WeTransfer as the link often expires before I have time to download the file. Ideally, use Google Drive or some other similar system that doesn’t have an expiration date. If you have a Gmail account, your image should automatically upload to Google Drive.
