Every month, we have a photography challenge for SheClicks members. Entering the challenge is easy because you can submit up to 5 images via our dedicated challenge submission webpage. Please also post your images in the SheClicks Challenge Thread in Connect on this website and/ or the SheClicks Facebook Group to inspire others to get involved.
At the end of the month, up to 25 of the submitted images are selected by Angela or a special guest judge to appear in our Gallery page for the world to see. The team at PermaJet will also select their favourite image from those 25 to print for the photographer and share on their social channels (tagging the photographer).

Guest judge: Bella Falk
The theme for the June Challenge is Travel and I’m delighted that travel photographer Bella Falk will be selecting the gallery images as our VIP Guest Judge. As well as selecting the gallery images, Bella will join us for a live video session after the challenge closes to discuss five of her chosen photographs, sharing what she liked about them and the reasons behind her selections.
Travel photography can take many forms. It might be landscapes, city scenes, architecture, transport, wildlife, food, people, details that capture a sense of place, or even a local adventure closer to home.
You don’t need to have a big trip planned to take part. Travel can be a holiday abroad, a day out, a weekend away, a favourite destination or simply exploring somewhere new near where you live.
Think about what travel means to you and the stories, moments and places you enjoy photographing when you’re out exploring.
As always, your image(s) can be taken at any time and anywhere. Please don’t submit images that have already been selected for the SheClicks gallery in an earlier challenge, and note that generative AI images are not eligible for entry.
You can submit up to 5 Jpeg images. Thanks to our new upload system, you don’t need to resize your image as it will do it for you. Of course if you want to, please feel free but make sure they are at least 1920 pixels along the longest edge.
The 25 images chosen for the website will be eligible for selection for a future exhibition.
If one of your images has been selected for the gallery, please send me the high-resolution version to challenge@sheclicks.net as soon as possible as it’s eligible for selection for a future exhibition.
When you send your high-resolution image, please use this format for the file name: First Name Second Name – Image Title.jpg
For example: Angela Nicholson – My Image.jpg.
Please use this format, including the capital letters, spaces and hyphen, as it saves a lot of time. Please send Jpegs, not TIFF or PNG files.
If possible, please don’t send your image by WeTransfer as the link often expires before I have time to download the file. Ideally, use Google Drive or some other similar system that doesn’t have an expiration date. If you have a Gmail account, your image should automatically upload to Google Drive.
