DJI has announced that the new Osmo Pocket 4P is on the way, with the pocket-sized gimbal set to launch in 2026. Designed for creators who want more flexibility from a compact filmmaking tool, the Osmo Pocket 4P introduces a dual-camera system aimed at cinematic storytelling and advanced content creation.
The teaser announcement positions the Osmo Pocket 4P as a next-generation mobile cinematography device, combining upgraded hardware with more creative shooting options. While DJI has not yet released full specifications, the inclusion of two cameras suggests a major shift for the Osmo Pocket series.
The Osmo Pocket range has long been valued for its portability and stabilisation by photographers, filmmakers and content creators who regularly shoot on the move. The Osmo Pocket 4P looks set to build on that reputation with flexible focal length coverage that can adapt to a wider range of shooting situations without needing extra accessories or lens attachments.

DJI says the dual-camera system has been designed to support seamless transitions across different shooting scenarios. Although exact focal lengths have not yet been confirmed, this could mean creators will be able to switch between wider establishing shots and tighter framing while maintaining the compact form factor the Osmo Pocket line is known for.
The company is clearly targeting advanced creators and visual storytellers with this launch. The language used in the teaser focuses heavily on cinematic creation and mobile filmmaking, suggesting improved image quality, enhanced stabilisation and more powerful shooting tools could all be part of the package.
As short-form video, travel filmmaking and mobile content creation continue to grow, compact hybrid tools like the Osmo Pocket have become increasingly popular with creators who want professional-looking footage without carrying larger camera setups. A dual-camera design could make the Osmo Pocket 4P particularly appealing for travel creators, vloggers and documentary filmmakers who need versatility in a small kit.
