I have always loved taking photos, ever since I was a child.
No, I don’t have any formal photographic qualifications or accolades.
The first photography work I remember seeing was by Vivian Maier.
It feels like meditation when I am immersed in capturing a scene.
I wish I had learned earlier not to stress when things do not go to plan.
The streets of London, or the Sussex Downs at sunrise.
I love using negative space, light and shadow.
As little as possible. I generally make just a few tweaks in Lightroom.
My favourite lens is the 24-105mm.
I don’t.
Yes, but I am not sure of the make.
Mark Feeny and Matt Hall have inspired me.
Judith Salstone @magesticsky and Pauline Ren @ren.pauline_1
I would like a Fujifilm X-T5 mirrorless camera. I currently use a Fujifilm X-T2 for my street photography.
Fine art photography.
My proudest photographic moment was capturing lambs jumping in the sunset.
I would choose more time.
Brownies.
Hi, I’m Jude! I love spending time with family and friends, staying active and soaking up as much of the outdoors as possible. Living by the sea means I’m often up at the crack of dawn with my Bernedoodle, Nelson, chasing the colours of sunrise. His tail starts wagging the moment he spots the camera bag!
Photography is my creative outlet, and street photography is my favourite genre. I’m fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow, and I love composing a scene and waiting for that perfect moment when someone steps into it. Street photography is special because it captures a fleeting instant, one that can never be repeated.
