Meet-up & Photo Walk with Fujifilm at the House of Photography, Covent Garden, London, UK
There are two meet-ups available, 11:15 – 14:15 or 15:15 – 18:15 on Saturday 6th June.
These two meet-ups are free to attend but each one is limited to just 10 places which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your place, email me at angela@sheclicks.net and let me know which time session you would like to attend.
The meet-ups, starting at the Fujifilm House of Photography, are designed to slow you down and encourage a more thoughtful approach to photography.
Inspired by the experience of shooting film, the photowalk invites participants to spend less time firing off endless frames and more time observing the light, the movement and the atmosphere around them before pressing the shutter. The route will take photographers through the heart of London, including Piccadilly Circus, Westminster and other well-known locations, with Fujifilm experts offering advice and guidance along the way.
Attendees will also get the chance to try a selection of Fujifilm cameras and lenses during the session, making it an opportunity not only to explore a different way of shooting, but also to get hands-on with some Fujifilm kit in real-world conditions.
Rather than focusing on speed or volume, the walk is centred around patience, presence and intention, encouraging photographers to think more carefully about composition, timing and storytelling. Fujifilm describes it as digital photography approached with a filmmaker’s heart, with an emphasis on creating fewer images with more meaning behind them.
The event is limited to just 10 delegates, so it should offer a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get support from the Fujifilm team.

Why not host a meet-up? Hosting a meet-up is easy. Just decide where you would like to photograph, pick a date and time, and then email Angela to receive a form to complete to let her know the details. Then all you need to do is be there at the appointed time.
Locations with good transport links, easy access to toilets and a convenient place for tea/coffee, snacks and/or lunch are usually favoured.
