Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 Price, Availability Confirmed

Nikon has announced the Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4, a versatile full-frame prime lens with a popular focal length for street, reportage, travel and event photography or videography.

Thanks to its larger than average maximum aperture of f/1.4, the Nikon Z 35mm f/1.4 allows fast shutter speed in low light, and subjects can be isolated from the background. Focus breathing is also said to be controlled well so the framing doesn't changes as the focus distance is altered.

The Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 is a nice match with the new Nikon Z6 III.

According to Nikon, the lens has quick and smooth autofocus powered by Nikon's multi-focusing system, combined with a close focusing distance of just 0.27 meters, adding to its versatility. In addition, the Z 35mm f/1.4 is weather-sealed yet lightweight, making it suitable for use in a wide range of conditions.

The new lens has a broad manual focus ring and a click less control ring that can be set to adjust aperture, exposure compensation or the ISO setting.
