About Jo
Jo Bradford is an award-winning photographer, best-selling author and photography educator. She is the driving force behind Green Island Studios, a bespoke analogue darkroom and photography workshop and studio space based on Dartmoor in the UK. In 2015 Jo developed a love of smartphone photography while undertaking the year-long photo-a-day project “A Love Letter to Dartmoor in 365 Photos”. This led to her best selling book about mobile platform photography (Smart Phone Smart Photography) being published in 2018. She is now considered a leading authority in this dynamic and growing field of photography and her second book on mobile editing (Smart Phone Smart Photo Editing) is due to publish in Autumn 2021. A lecturer at Falmouth University Jo also delivers workshops for the Royal Photographic Society, works with the Open University, and is a regular judge on photography competition panels.
